Title: couple colors in 3" silver fish
Post by: ctom on May 23, 2013, 12:22:21 pm
Here are a couple request colors done in the 3" split tailed silver fish using the belly and lam plates.  Man I love that system.

I'm not too crazy about the blue on a bait....I prefer a deeper blue. The guy that asked for these sure likes the blue...both colors suit him fine.

Nothing wrong with that blue.  I guarantee you that will catch fish in north Alabama.  Those are nice baits.  Did you use the belly mold?  They look like you did to me.

The belly mold was used in these.

The more I work with this bait's mold plates, the more I like the whole system.

Bob,
Not all of them. It just depends on the cavity layout.

The belly part of the mold is either hand poured or filled with a laminate plate. Then the mold is put together and the top color shot.
